Story

Before everything had a name, it started simply. At 11 years old, in a cousin’s house, Ptolome opened FL Studio for the first time. No guidance. No instruction. Just instinct. He started arranging kicks, snares, hi-hats naturally, as if something already knew. That moment didn’t feel like learning. It felt like remembering.

From there, music was never only sound. It was a signal that something deeper existed underneath the surface of life. With only a cheap pair of Sony headphones and the Supreme MPA app on an Android tablet, he started creating music. Nights without sleep, creating music before and after work, and through all challenges life presented at him he never stopped.

For over a decade, he devoted himself to music and understanding the industry, travelling, learning, and refining his craft from the ground up.

His journey passed beyond borders. From Canada to the United States and South America, he stepped into environments where music lived at its source — learning directly, observing deeply, and expanding his perspective on sound and culture.

But beyond technique, something deeper was unfolding. Raised with stories from his father — born in Komono, the Republic of Congo Brazzaville, Ptolome grew up aware of a lineage tied to the Teke tribe, where rhythm, intuition, and spiritual awareness have long coexisted. Over time, those roots found their way into his sound.

His drums, melodies and sounds don’t just follow patterns, They carry something alive. Something experienced. Through years of movement, struggle, and inner search, one truth became clear: Everything is connected. Music, experience, spirituality, creation — all expressions of the same reality.

Today, Ptolome’s work goes beyond genre. Music is the foundation, but his creativity extends into visuals, ideas, and energy, forming a body of work that reflects growth, truth, exploration and authenticity.

Ptolome works as a quiet guide holding the torch. Someone who has walked through enough to understand that there is more, and that discovering it calls for stepping outside of comfort, questioning reality, and staying loyal to one’s path and internal world.

His art exists as a bridge between the seen and the unseen. An invitation to explore, to feel, transcend and reconnect in the highest forms.
